Where do I begin:

chocolate covered bacon...yummy!
chocolate covered cherry tomato...dont try i accidently dropped the tomato in melted dark choc and thought why not...oh acid and bitter do not mix...

silkworm larvae...steamed...served as a bar snack in south korea...

last week...i was on jeju island and we ate at a raw fish restaurant...not sure what the fish was but it looked like a woman's private part and was still alive in its shell when it arrived at the table...i had to scrap it out...harder than trying to get a mussel or oyster out of its shell with just a spoon...it was kinda crunchy...

raw sea squirt...that was really salty and mushy...
raw crab in bibimbap once...not what i expected...and not going back for seconds either...

Bundiggi. In South Korea they sell steams silk worm larvae in a nutty sweet sauce. They eat these bugs out of a paper carton with toothpicks the same way we eat french fries from a chip stand.

They are definitely an acquired taste.

Roast cuy (aka guinea pig): Delicious kinda like a really tiny suckling pig

Japanese salted fermented squid guts-- not so gutty goodness

Lamb testes

Thai pickled crab--spicy funky messy, had to wash my hands like four times

Northern Chinese style stewed lamb spine--wonderuful, anise scented, messy as hell

drunken raw crab (in Shanghai).
It was really tasty! Sweet and a little salty. Could also see the meat convulsing, from the shock?

I have a friend that made me some dinner one night, and it consisted of:

Ramen noodles, tuna fish, string cheese, salsa, and Goldfish crackers. You cook the ramen, add the tuna, and string cheese, microwave until the cheese melts a bit, then add some salsa and Goldfish crackers.

I ate about two bites, and then set it aside. The Shrimp flavoring and the tuna completely wrong, but it was the string cheese and salsa combo that put me over the edge...
