Oh my that looks so delicious. I couldn't walk by that vendor everyday and not buy something. I have the same weakness for Krystal burgers.

Those are the best. They used to call them Danger Dogs in LA. We sell them as Devil Dogs at Mardi Gras and during certain festivals. The sweet lady in the video has them exactly right and anyone calling them pathetic does not grok street food. Danger Dogs belong in the Cartivore Hall of Fame if there were one. FWIW our version is pretty much like hers, with grilled peppers, onions, Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo, and Sriracha. So good, especially after a night out. So hot, they'll burn you twice, but worth it.

Yea man - The guy was a bit of a jerk - But I do think he was just talking about the lack of street food in the city. But as you point out, that's really changing. The guy's just not in the know. Oh well - his loss.

Just found your site, and lucky for me, I have hot dogs in the fridge. The power of suggestion. Tomatoes are my topping of choice. They add a hint of sweet, surprisingly.
BTW, love what you're doing! If you ever eat your way to Austin, there's been a surge of foodie airstreams in the past year... everything from cupcakes to crepes! This article lists of a number of them. http://www.austinchronicle.com/gyrobase/Issue/s...
