One of my favorite shoots to date was this one, at Bet’s Fish Fry in Boothbay Harbor. This hardly talked about street food delight is owned and operated by one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Besides being loved by the locals, Bet dishes out some mean fried haddock and fries. Next summer be sure to plan a road trip around Bet’s Fish Fry.

What a great place, I must now have some fish and chips in the next day or sooooo. There is a 'dive' restaurant in Redford, MI called “Bet & Jess Fish and Chips” with some of the best fried fish in the area; and at first I was somehow hoping they were connected…..looks just like it's only the 'Bet' name.
that place isn't street food. looks like a brick and mortar to me
Haha. Great.. my little sister Bet needs to get into franchising. When she hatched this idea years ago, we all knew between her personality, great fresh right off the boat fresh haddock and a killer location-it would be a hit..People line up in their jammies waiting for her to open.. Can you imagine a Bets in Las Vegas-NYC-LA…Margaret-Maine Lobster Chef of 2008 and mother to Mac-Maine Lobster Chef of 2009
what does that mean? a brick and mortar?
Loved this episode Dan! Great editing, very colorful cart and surroundings…the owner and customers were so down to earth, and the fish….gheeee wizzz amazing huge and delicious looking..Seemed like you had a lot of fun doing that shoot!
Very cool! You need to come do a show down in Orlando. A late night taco truck city sets up after dark here with lots and lots of trucks, all in one central location!
You must have filmed this last summer….. Looked nice and warm!
Nice Shot though! Nothing like real fish & chips for a meal! I want a sticker btw!
I've lived in downtown Orlando for almost a decade. Where is this taco truck?!
Oh wow the fish looks so good! Awesome.
Look forward to it every summer!!! Local favorite for sure!
This is the best fish sandwich in the Northeast and there are many to choose from believe me!
when does she open for the year? Its definitely the best fish I’ve ever had. The dill mayo puts it over the top.
