Calexico’s Pumpkin Arbol Salsa (New York, NY)

Prince & Wooster

What’s up Cartivores!?

For Halloween this year we headed back to the second cart we covered on VendrTV, Calexico Carne Asada to whip up some of their Pumpkin Arbol Salsa. Peter Olaire, one of the partners at Calexico, showed us how to make this delicious salsa from just a few ingredients.

Want to make the salsa for yourself? Download the PDF here. Make it, and upload it to our Facebook page.

And of course be sure to visit Calexico online and follow them on twitter.

Question of the Week:

What is the BEST halloween costume you’ve ever seen?

Great Costume you dog you! The salsa looks terrific also

  4. Nice intro..!

The best halloween costume I've seen in person (I've seen plenty of incredible costumes on the internet) was a paper maché siamese thing, a guy and a girl in some pretty intricate blob like dress made from newspapers, brown bags and white paper, they won first prize in a party at a long gone night club, this was the 90's of course…

Will give the salsa a try. Good Show Daniel.

The best halloween costume i've ever seen was Dave Thomas, the Wendy's man. There was the spatula, apron and fat stomach, so great.

Cool Halloween opening graphics. The best Halloween costume I've ever seen was a girl that was “Eve” and lets just say she barely had a fig leaf covering the strategic areas and she didn't even need that IMO. ;-)

  7. HAHAH! Wonder if anyone was so unlucky that night?!

  8. I don't think so Amy. I'm a bit sick. I think I'll be bed ridden. :(

  9. Awesome that you noticed the intro! :)

That costume sounds nutty. I feel like I'd break it.

Please do – post some photos to our facebook!

  10. Dave was wearing the spatula and apron? Funny! Was he eating square burgers?

  11. HAHA! Thanks! Yea man – why so conservative?!

  12. hannimal says:

    Most surely.

  13. Okay Dan. Where to begin?

Love the Halloween open. Love the costume. You rule man. You RULE.
