The Shroom Dog - Fried mushrooms, fried onions and swiss cheese melted over the top. The mushroom and swiss burger is so good, why not do it on a dog?

I prefer a Sonoran-dog. These are common throughout southern Arizona including Tucson. This dog is similar to one already mentioned, but adds a few more flavors.

Start with an all beef dog, and wrap it in bacon. Grill so that the bacon is nicely caramelized and holds on tight to the dog. When you place it in the bun, add caramelized onions, pinto beans, green chile (or jalapeno's if that's all you can find) and cover with a good amount of monterrey jack cheese. If you find yourself wanting more, you can make a spicy mayo and add that as well.
