Mission District Vendors (San Francisco, CA)

One of the coolest street vending scenes takes place in the Mission District of San Francisco, where a whole slew of underground vendors use Twitter to tell their loyal fans where they are. A few minutes after the tweet a flash mob forms to dine on everything from curry to creme brulee.

On our evening in the mission we met up with the @magiccurrykart, the @cremebruleecart, and the @sexysoupcart.

   I love the Sexy Soup Lady!! Her soup's good too…especially the butternut squash. I was out for her black bean soup last week which was also super tasty.

   The Soup Lady is also a nutritionist by day (Kristin Hoppe @ Food Therapy) so always expect healthy eats!!
