After a long day of studying (or a long night of partying) nothing hits the spot like a good old burger and some fries. Thankfully, Duke University Students got the hook up with Only Burger, a mobile burgery that serves only the freshest of products, always made to order.

While there I met with the owner, Brian Bottger who showed me how to make his classic Bacon & Bleu burger, as well as his Breakfast Burger complete with fried green tomatoes and an egg!

Had one of there burgers and it’s the only burger for me. Also another food truck I love is Valentino’s it sets up at Lone Rider, where they make a 3 cheese melt on beer bread. WOW it was good! Can wait to try the other items they sell.

The one thing you left out was the ability to locate the Only Burger truck by accessing their website for their location at any given time. Otherwise, except you your style of eating, was impeccable.

The best burger is a green chile cheese burger from New Mexico. The trick to getting this right is to use chile that is grown and harvested from southern New Mexico (preferably Hatch, NM), and to warm it on the grill next to the burger and cheese before assembling everything. The heat from the grill helps the flavor of the green chile to penetrate the melted cheese and beef once it is all put together. Yum!

OnlyBurger is the best! We get up every saturday morning and head to the Durham farmers market to enjoy one of life’s simple pleasures, the breakfast burger. My favorite burger is the Double Double at In N Out.. but I bet if I tried the Only burger, it would be 100000000x better than In N Out.
