Street Sommelier w/ Gary Vaynerchuk (New York, NY)
Midtown ManhattanIn this jam packed episode of VendrTV, Dan teams up with internet wine superstar Gary Vaynerchuk of Wine Library TV where the two cruise the streets of Manhattan pairing wine with street food.
On our first stop we were joined by Zach Brooks of MidtownLunch.com at Kwik Meal, a cart which recently won MTL’s Street Meat Palooza 2.
Gary threw a fast ball, pairing the platter with a 2008 Premiado Torrontes.
Then it was off to meet up with Jerome Chang of The Dessert Truck. There we sampled his award winning chocolate bread pudding, as well as my favorite, the warm chocolate molten cake. Quick on his feet, Gary whipped out a 2006 Tohu Pinot Noir, which paired perfectly with the sweets.

I'm from sunny Orlando, FL! I have a cool litle blog on Wordpress. Go check it out when you have a minute. Anyway, there are no street vendors like New York here in Orlando. You gotta have a permit for just about everything here and Mickey Mouse has to sign off on it. You know what I'm saying? LOL

Nice! Well, if you come all that distance just to deliver wine, I'll give you a food tour of Montreal. No food carts, but lots of great places to eat. We could eat our way from one end of the city to the other.

I don't know – My nose is OK. I definitely drink more wine than all other alcohols combined, but I'm much better with street meat than pinot. Yourself?
